Zesty and Spicy Paneer Tikka Recipe Made Using the Goodness of Godrej Jersey Ghee

Ingredients
- ½ cup Yoghurt
- ½ tbsp Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- ½ tbsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tbsp Cumin Powder
- ½ tbsp Garam Masala
- ½ tbsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves
- ½ tbsp Chaat Masala
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- ¼ tbsp Carom Seeds
- 2 tbsp Dry Roasted Gram Flour
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 3 tbsp Godrej Jersey Ghee
- ½ Onion Petals
- ½ Capsicum Cubed (Red, Green)
- Cottage Cheese Cubes
- Salt to taste
Preparation
1. First, in a large bowl mix yoghurt with the following spices.
2. Add turmeric, Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam
masala, dried fenugreek leaves, chaat masala, and ginger-garlic paste to the bowl.
3. Now add roasted besan, lemon juice, and salt to it.
4. Curd and spices should be thoroughly mixed.
5. Add paneer cubes, red & green capsicum, and onion petals at this point.
6. Add 1 tsp of Godrej Jersey ghee.
7. Mix gently to thoroughly coat the vegetables.
8. Marinate, cover the mixture and chill for the next 30 minutes.
9. Thread the paneer, onions, and capsicum onto kebab skewers.
10. Cook it in the oven or tandoor or roast it on a hot tawa.
11. Additionally, add a tbsp of GodrejJersey ghee to the tikka.
12. Move the pan frequently while roasting over a medium flame.
13. Roast it from all sides, watch out for burning.
14. Finally, add some chaat masala and serve the paneer tikka hot.
Tips to Remember
- For the best restaurant-style tikka flavour, let the marination sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Adding a drop of red food colouring to the marination produces a brilliant red colour.
- Moreover, include any additional vegetables you prefer, such as potatoes, broccoli, baby corn, or mushrooms.
- Last but not least, paneer tikka should be served right away for the best flavour.
